Preschool Programs:

Preschool ballet and gymnastics classes are available for dancers ages 2-4.5. All preschool instructors follow Once Upon a Ballet curriculum and utilize props, positive reinforcement, and hands on teaching to provide an engaging and strong foundation for our littlest students!

Ballet

Ballet is a highly technical form of dance that focuses on precise movements, grace, and fluidity. It combines strength, flexibility, and balance, with dancers performing a variety of elegant poses, jumps, and turns. Ballet emphasizes proper body alignment and technique, often set to classical music, and is the foundation for many other dance styles. Pointe is offered for more advanced dancers with teacher permission!

Hiphop

Acrobatics

Acrobatics is a dynamic and physical form of dance that combines elements of gymnastics, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Technique

Technique classes focus on precision, balance, coordination, proper placement of the arms, core engagement, and more to train dancers to advance their turns, leaps, progressions and flexibility.

Lyrical/Contemporary

Lyrical contemporary dance is a blend of expressive movement, combining the emotional storytelling of lyrical dance with the innovative, free-flowing techniques of contemporary dance. It emphasizes fluid, graceful movements that connect deeply with the music’s lyrics, while also incorporating elements like floor work, improvisation, and dynamic changes in speed and direction.
